Here are two ways that you can lend a "helping hand" to King!
Shoebox for Homeless is an annual event for our Advisory classes. Students are asked to bring in an item that they can contribute to their class shoebox. Our advisory students have been most generous and creative in their shoebox projects.
We invite families to participate in this event by making a shoebox as a "family home-project." It is a great opportunity to teach our children about giving and extending our care to others. Filled and wrapped shoeboxes can be turned in to the front office by Feb. 11th, 3:00 p.m. (If you need an empty shoebox, stop by our front office and pick one up.)
Box Tops for Education is an easy fundraising project for King. Students are collecting boxtops as a team competition and as a fundraiser for our "last day of school" fun fair. Proceeds from the boxtops fund the rides, games and prizes on that super day! Ask your friends, neighbors and family to help by cutting out boxtops from various products (see list below). Students can turn in their boxtops to the front office. Look for the specially marked team boxes display. "Go Boxtops Go!"
