Cobras Meet Cats!

Hawaii Humane Society "Pet Power" Video Contest Winners!

Congratulations to our 8th grade students, Danielle Pratt, Alexis Klimpl, Jackie Hee, Tia Marie Makainai, Alma Tuquib and DeAnna Essman for creating a winning PSA (public service announcement) video in the Hawaii Humane Society Pet Power contest. Along with King advisor, Mr. Clayton Harada, the students were awarded the top prize in the Middle School Video division. Certificates and prizes were presented at a ceremony on April 5, 2013 on the grounds of the Hawaii Humane Society. In a funny, yet effective PSA, King's winning entry, "Not My Fault," highlights the responsibility of pet owners in preventing cat overpopulation.
