King's Principal, Ms. Sheena Alaiasa, received a prestigious award at a surprise student assembly on
August 29, 2013. She was selected from a group of 3 national finalists. This is the first time the winner is from the State of Hawaii. Governor Neal Abercrombie and DOE Superintendent Katherine Matayoshi lauded Ms. Alaiasa's leadership in guiding and inspiring King's teacher and students toward growing student achievement and a positive school climate! Ms. Alaiasa will travel to Washington D.C. in September for the formal presentations. Congratulations to Ms. Alaiasa for her commitment and vision. Also, much
