8th Grade Parents,
Castle High School staff presented their Summer Bridge program to students yesterday (4/19/17) at an assembly. Registration forms are available at the King Office and the Castle website (link below). If you are interested in having your child attend this program, please register him/her promptly. Space is limited to 100 students only on a first come basis. IMPORTANT REMINDER - payment and completed form must be turned in at the CASTLE HIGH office (not to King).

Upcoming Transition Workshop
King parents and current 6th grade parents are invited to join our upcoming workshop on April 20th: "Understanding Your Child's Adolescent Years." Our presenter is Lois Yamauchi, President of Parents for Public Schools Hawaii and professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Hawaii. Lois will speak on the many changes in the adolescent brain and its impact on their physical, social, and emotional state. Please see flyer below for more information.

Science Symposium at Sacred Hearts Academy
Sacred Hearts Academy is hosting its 23rd Annual Science Symposium for Girls in the 5th to 8th grades on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. The Science Symposium is free for all attendees. Students will have the opportunity to participate in two STEM based workshops while their parents attend a Parents' Only session from the keynote speaker, Dr. Holly Olson.

Join After-School All-Stars!
After-School All-Stars is accepting registrations. This is a free program that offers Homework Hour, athletics, enrichment classes. and field trips immediately after school. Activities run until 5:00 pm every day students are in school. Please download the registration form below or ask for a hard copy at King's front office.
