King welcomed parents to our campus and into their children's classrooms on August 7, 2012. A cafeteria favorite treat, "pig in the blanket," started the evening for the families, along with a welcome by Principal, Ms. Alaiasa. Complex Area Superintendent, Lea Albert, also had an important video message for parents. She shared with parents the commitment of our complex, school and staff to their child's education. But, more importantly, a successful year for our students also requires a strong partnership with families. We need parents to support our efforts with good daily attendance, monitoring of homework, having high expectations, encouraging effort and celebrating their successes.
We look forward to a wonderful year with you!
