Students in Ms. Chan, Ms. Javier and Mr. Llewellyn's 8th grade science classes got a unique opportunity to work with a
National Geographic Travelling Map of the Pacific Ocean. Students were able "be in and on" the earth's plates, currents and other features. The event was made possible by "Women in Technology," in an effort to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) ideas among our students.
