Keep Our Students Safe

King Parents and Ohana,

Help us keep our campus safe for our student pedestrians. Please follow the map routes below for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.  It is a very short walk from the gym to the main campus. Although our students are instructed to use the crosswalks,  they are not always as attentive to traffic as they should be. We ask for your help in minimizing the on-campus traffic and by driving at a slower, safe speed. Also, please minimize potential distractions by turning down loud car radios when on campus.

Sing! Dance! Act! - AUDITIONS FOR HAIRSPRAY JR. COMING UP!

AUDITIONS COMING UP!  
SEPT. 29 AND 30

Castle Performing Arts Center (CPAC) will be holding auditions for their upcoming musical "Hairspray Jr." Auditions will be held at King in Room F-2 on September 29 and 30, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Students must attend BOTH days for singing, dancing and acting auditions. Choreography and acting scenes will be provided. Students should wear easy-to-move-in clothing and closed-toe shoes (No slippers!).  Individual song auditions are encouraged, but not required.

Selected students will begin rehearsals in mid-November on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Castle High, Ron Bright Theater. A break will be taken for the three weeks of school winter break.

Hairspray Jr. public performances will be from February 6-8, 2015, at the Ron Bright Theatre at Castle High School. School performances will be on February 3-5, 2015.

Students participating in the production are responsible for assignments/homework missed and maintaining satisfactory grades.
